Axinn Veltrop & Harkrider
Axinn Veltrop & Harkrider, LLP is a law firm with offices in New York, Washington, D.C., San Francisco and Hartford. A new office space was needed to accommodate Axinn’s recent growth, most notably at their Washington, D.C. location, which welcomed 15 new attorneys in 2020. Lighting provided by Inter-lux/Whitegoods and Inter-lux/Linea Light illuminates and enhances this new space.
Three companies in the Baltimore/DC area; Inter-lux, Alliance Lighting and OTJ Architects, joined forces to create a sustainable, efficient and comfortable environment for Axinn’s expanding workforce.
Whitegoods lighting, engineered and manufactured in Baltimore, Maryland, is designed to blend perfectly with adjoining surfaces to create integrated lighting schemes with one unified style and maximum efficiency of design.
Products from the Whitegoods 20Linear line; 20Linear Surface, 20Linear Perimeter, 20Linear Wall Wash and 20 Linear Graze, provide maximum performance while minimizing brightness. The 20Linear Perimeter is available with flush or regressed position. 20Linear Wall Wash provides excellent vertical illumination to very high angle on wall surfaces and an even graduation of light.
The ProTools 4” downlight line, also from Whitegoods, is available in a wide range of options that include round and square and bezel and plaster trim to accommodate various project requirements.
Linea Light Epitax is a pull-out downlight that can be installed semi-recessed or in a recessed position flush with the ceiling. With no flange and recessed optics, Epitax merges seamlessly with the architecture.
Working collaboratively, these products provide energy-efficient task lighting, wayfinding and visual interest to a building that earned LEED Gold status and is the first in Washington, D.C. to achieve WELL Certification.
