Greer Cabaret Theater

After a 13-month closure and a six-million-dollar renovation, the Greer Cabaret Theater, located in the cultural district of downtown Pittsburgh, offers innovative state-of-the-art entertainment thanks in part to Linea Light Group’s Rubber 3D RGBW product.

Rubber is a broad family of flexible lighting fixtures designed to resolve even the most challenging architectural applications, such as columns and curved walls, in both indoor and outdoor spaces. It is available in multiple solutions, from a 3D version with a diffused output that bends in every direction, to 2D and 2D Mini (only 0.2” wide) options that bend sideways to get to the unique 3D Optic. Other advantages include ease of installation, ability to be field cut, low cost, and excellent color saturation.

As seen in the photos and video, Rubber illuminates the walls, ceiling, and booth borders of this theater. It was chosen because of its flexible nature, which allows it to bend both vertically and horizontally to follow the sinuous lines of the architecture. The color-changing feature adds excitement to the space and the lighting can be incorporated into performances to create an immersive experience.
