Inter-lux Lights Sean Collier Memorial at MIT
The Sean Collier Memorial on the MIT campus is a tribute to the MIT police officer killed in the line of duty following the Boston Marathon bombing April 18, 2013. Horton Lees Brogden Lighting Design in Boston chose to use 28 of the FILIX RDP35 in grade 1.5” paver lights to represent both the star pattern of that night and the years of Sean’s life. The lighting focuses on the experience rather than illuminating the Memorial as an object.
