4600 River Road
Whitegoods lighting adds a futuristic vibe to the lobby of a new four-story, 106,000 square-foot building in the Discovery District, an area created to enhance the connection between the University of Maryland and technology-based businesses.
The structure is divided into north and south pods that include lab spaces, offices, and overlapping collaboration zones and the anchor tenant is a cybersecurity and IT workforce development company. 60 Linear Recessed was arranged in geometric patterns to give the lobby and lobby restroom a cutting-edge look to complement the pioneering companies within.
With a 2.4” aperture, this integrated Whitegoods solution is compatible with all ceiling types and as demonstrated in the project photos, it can be installed in a variety of wall surfaces as well to accommodate wall-to-wall and wall-to-ceiling configurations.
Available in standard and tailored run lengths, including corners, this luminaire can be customized to meet even the most challenging application expectations. A flexible design with separate housing and gear tray ensures ease of installation and worry-free maintenance. 60 Linear Recessed is manufactured here in the US and is Buy American compliant. Whitegoods provides a curated range of lighting tools that seamlessly integrate into the architecture while making the absolute minimum visual impact on the space being illuminated.
The lobby of a building is an opportunity to make a statement and this lobby says, “Innovation happens here”.
