Laurel Library
A completely transformed library in Laurel, Maryland appeals to children and adults with its technological and kid-friendly attributes. The original building of the Laurel Branch Library, Stanley Memorial Library was erected in 1965 and the new 31,000-square-foot facility opened in November of 2016.
Grimm + Parker implemented a wide range of Inter-lux lighting solutions throughout the library to attract visitors of all ages and inspire them to stay and learn. One of the most colorful and imaginative features of the library is a path of color-changing, LED floor pavers with dinosaur footprints running through the Children’s Library and outside into a courtyard.
This stunning educational destination benefits from a bright interior illuminated with Whitegoods linear fixtures.
